This program exposes the participant to a broad base of techniques, tactics, and technical knowledge

regarding personal defense and using a semi-automatic rifle.  Training includes; history, assembly, disassembly,

includes nomenclature, cleaning and maintenance.  A variety of necessary techniques are taught, for the safe

and efficient operation of the semi-automatic rifle.  Learn self defense LE style manipulation and

carry methods.   Participants shoot a course of LE style drills, using various shooting positions.    

 

           Lesson Goal:  Prepare AR 15 style users to defend themselves, other,

                                 and safely utilize the AR 15 style rifle in recreation.

 

          Course Objectives:  Present skills required to manipulate the AR15 style rifle.

                                            Participants will demonstrate the marksmanship skills required to utilize the AR15 syle rifle.

                                            The proper mindset for use of the AR15 style rifle will be presented.

                              Weapon Disarming/Edged Weapon Defense Workshop

         If someone threatens you at close range with a firearm, how do you defend yourself against this threat?

This workshop will explain and demonstrate the techniques and skills used to disarm a person with a firearm,

knife or other weapons.  Edged weapon attacks can be deadly.  This workshop demonstrates and practices

techniques in defending against them.  Participants will be given the opportunity to work with each other, practice the

techniques and skills that will be demonstrated.    Multiple threat situations will also be demonstrated.

 

Participants will be guided by an exceptionally experienced instructor:   Terry Womack

        (Terry "Gunny" a retired U.S. Marine Seargent, with decades of self defense training experience.)

 

             Length  4.0 hours
