MN Carry Permit Training Program
This Program is designed for persons who can safely handle a handgun and
can demonstrate proficiency without coaching.
Our approach for carry is to conceal your gun (no one should know you have a firearm).
This program is taught assuming that you conceal your firearm when you carry. We back this approach throughout the course with reasons and examples.
Why our Program?...
This course is dynamic not static. What this means for the participant is a program that is always improving,
making positive additions and changes to your carry permit training. This class instructs the participant
on carrying in Minnesota, and our focus is on preparing you to survive a lethal encounter, which goes beyond
your carry firearm. We include additional reading material and resources that provides the participant
an opportunity to continue enhancing their knowledge beyond our course. Each carry class utilizes three
instructors whose diverse backgrounds in education, firearms, and self defense, provides the participant with
a comprehensive education and training program.
Our Course goes beyond the required training, and includes a firearm proficiency test at one location for
one price!
In our Educational Training Center, you will complete an A to Z program, exceeding the requirements
set forth by the Minnesota Personal Protection Act of 2003.
Our team of three instructors will bring a unique and refreshing approach to your educational and
training experience.
Coffee, refreshments, and lunch, with treats, is included in each class experience.

running the other direction if you were able. This distance demonstrates the ability to use the sights on your firearm, it demonstrates
an ability that a novice does not have) . The Burnsville Rifle and Pistol Range has been giving proficiency tests since 1991, there
is no state standardized test. This test worked for law enforcement agencies in the past to show proficiency, so we use this test for
the MPPA of 2003 firearm exercise that is required.
